Outreach

The Archives and Records Management Section (ARMS) undertakes various outreach activities in UN Secretariat Offices and in the field. The United Nations archives preserves a rich institutional memory accessible to the public. We also aim at showing part of this legacy through online thematic exhibitions.

The United Nations and South Korea: Partners in Reconstruction (1950-1960) shows historic pictures of the work of the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency that intervened after the Korean War. Browse our photo galleries, watch the video presentation and know more about UNKRA's work.

To celebrate his work and pay tribute to one of the most audacious architects of his time, the Archives and Records Management Section (ARMS) presents an online exhibition: Oscar Niemeyer and the United Nations’ Headquarters (1947-1949).
