Custody is the responsibility of the Dag Hammarskjold Library, and copies are disseminated to designated depository libraries around the world.


  • The Department of Public Information photographs, which are held by DPI in the United Nations Photo. ARMS has DPI photographs within its holdings, but incidental acquisitions only.


  • The records of related bodies, which are held in their own archives, e.g., FAO (Rome), ICAO (Montreal), IFAD (Rome), ILO (Geneva), ITU (Geneva), UNDP (New York), UNESCO (Paris), UNHCR (Geneva), UNICEF (New York), UNOG (Geneva), WHO (Geneva), WIPO (Geneva), and WMO (Geneva).
