The United Nations now creates and receives the majority of its information in electronic form. Much of this information constitutes records of the United Nations. Electronic records present significant challenges with regard to their creation and current use and with regard to their long term preservation.
ARMS has developed a series of policies and standards and provides advice on their implementation.
