ARMS has just published over 3 thousand photographs from the United Nations Information Organization (UNIO).
UNIO was the first international agency of the Allied powers participating in World War II and was also the first organisation to incorporate in its title the "United Nations" name. The photographs document the cultures of it various members, the war and home fronts, and the events which led up to the creation of the current Organization in 1945.
